Thank you to Terry and his team for a FUN day! We did the ATV tour on 11/2/11 and loved it...met with Terry right off the dock and loved our ATV tour, rain and all... his decription of the ATV tour on his web page is right on....This terrain can be challangeing if you have never ridden an ATV before. Compared to the cruise ship offered tour, we got more time, attention, and real opprtunities for fun. His crew is very helpful, the food amazingly fresh tasting and tip the little kids 1-2 $...they welcome you in their backyard and they need it too. We will def contact Terry again when we are back in Samana and suggest you do also.

Samana was our best stop on our 9 day cruise. I found Terry on Tripadvisor his reviews were positive so we went ahead and booked an ATV tour. I'm so glad we did. We can't stop talking about it. His staff was friendly and very helpful. Having no ATV experience Angel was there to help. Also food provided was excellent. Do not miss this exciting and memorable tour.

Our group of kids ages 5 to 17 and adults to age 65 enjoyed our day on the Samana Peninsula. We were met at the dock by his friendly staff with a comfortable ride and cold beers and sodas for the kids. Our site seeing included picturesque overlooks, remote waterfalls, and beautiful beaches. We would definitely recommend touring with Terry to anyone considering an excursion at this port or anyone visiting Samana on their own.

I found TourSamanawith Terry on-line before leaving on my cruise. The website does not begin to explain the beauty that the Dominican has to offer. Terry's Team take the time to answer questions, take you through a tour of Samana that allows the tourist to meet the local people and thier way of life. Share traditional meals and introduce us to local life as it really is in the Dominican. Simple things like watching local children go to school in uniforms and sharing a slice of homemade bread, coffee (ground from beans in the jungle), tour simple homes and meet the proud residents of Samana. The horseback ride took us through a portion of Samana that remains untouched. An experience no on should miss when in Samana. Our group brought school supplies to local children. A small donation towards education in Samana. This has to be the best part of a trip in Samana. Not to be missed.

We had a group of us on March 16th from the Royal Caribbean cruise ship and we went on the tour to El Limon Falls with Terry. What an incredible overall experience. Thank you to Terry and his crew, the bus ride and scenary on route to the ranch was fantastic! We had fresh pinapple along the way, a wonderful tour of his property and we had the opportunity to met some of the local kids that was such a joy! The horse ride was great and the waterfalls were breathtaking! The lunch provided afterwards was so good! This was so much better than we could have imagined. The tour was done in such a personable real manner that we really felt we got a sense of Samana and the people there and it was by far our best day on the trip! The best tour we have every taken thanks to you Terry! Sherri and Solong

Our second excursion with Terry on 2/27/11 didn't disappoint! First was the Low impact and most recently we did El Limon by Horseback. Once again our FAVORITE! stop of the southern Caribbean Cruise. Most Authentic Experience you will encounter. There will be plenty of "beach" stops where you just sit and soak up the sun. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T MISS A TRIP WITH TERRY!!!

Our group took the low impact tour with Terry on Mar 1, 2011. The shuttle bus was full and at the end of the tour all 26 of us were delighted with the sights and the information that were supplied by Terry. El Valle beach was the single most beautiful setting I have ever observed. Don't miss this one!

We were on the Enchantment of the Seas visiting Smana February 11, 2011. After searching the CC Boards and finding Terry I decided to book the #2 La Playita tour for DH and myself and talked 2 other couples into it. I can't begin to describe our time there. It was more than AWESOME! From start to finish we had a great time. Even in the rain!!! And that jaw dropping view when we pulled into the beach with rain pouring down!!! I can't say enough about the Fabulous Food (Which was the best fish we have ever had! The chicken wasn't bad either!); Beautiful Beach; our Guide! (I'm so sorry I can't remember her name now) The people were so pleasant. Terry - you and your family outdid yourself and this fellow Pennsylvanian thanks you from the bottom of my heart! We will definitely be using and recommending Terry's Tours again! Thumbs up and A+++++ or 5 stars!!!!!

We took a chance on the Whale Watching Excursion with Terry. We were on the Enchantment of the Seas. The cruise lines try to scare you into using their services on the premise that they'll sail without you if you miss the ship if you don't book with them. We couldn't have been happier with our excursion. Eliseo was our tour guide and was very helpful, friendly and entertaining. The boat was well maintained, stable and safe. Our captain followed the rules exactly and avoided harassing the mother and baby whales we encountered. The little resort beach restaurant we visited following was absolutely lovely. Food was great, drinks were seriously healthy and the beach was perfect. We were back on board a full hour before sailing time. Don't let the cruise line scare you out of using Terry. He and his associates (family) run a very nice operation. Definitely will use Tour Samana with Terry again.

We had the opportunity to meet the majority of his associates: Eliseo, Louis, Ben, Lobo, and Louis (our trusty driver). I canâ??t say enough about all of these guys. Each one, including Terry, showed us unique things about the country and added to the fun. These guys would literally do anything for us, including walking for miles through the river, carrying souvenirs that we had bought (thanks Louis)! No matter who the guide was, we had a fantastic time each day. We also enjoyed a lot of little added bonuses from visiting the local market, to seeing fresh coconuts get cut with a machete, to trying sugar cane picked from the trail, to tasting fresh made coconut bread. All of these things made for such a memorable experience that we would have missed out on if we had just â??booked the excursions with the hotel after arrivingâ?. The Dominican Republic is a beautiful place with happy and friendly people. We loved every bit of our week and canâ??t wait to go back!
