We did the ATV tour back in November - We could not of enjoyed it more. The tour guide, ride, lunch etc were all fantastic. Once back on the cruise we talk to lots of people that believed Royal Caribbean should not have taken them to Samana however I would say that without doubt we had the best day of our holiday thanks to Terry. Do some research before visiting so you will know what to expect - its not like most cruise ports. Thanks again - Alex

March 10, 2013. Took the number 5 low impact tour with Chuck as our guide. We could not have asked for a better host. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very articulate. I believe we were fortunate to see the "real" Samana. If there was one draw back it would be that there was too long a stay at the bread woman's house and only 5 minutes at the falls. My little girl would have loved to have been able to swim at the falls. I would highly recommend that anyone visiting Samana should book a Tour with Terry with a special note to see which tour Chuck would be guiding. We will always remember Samana because of Chuck!

Terry, Tom and others, We recently took a horseback riding tour when we were on our last cruise from Feb 24-March 4th. I have to say I own a travel agency and tried to book a horseback riding tour with the approved excursion company. To my surprise, they cancelled me the thursday before leaving on the trip - I was so disgusted, for it was to be a surprise for my son's girlfriend. I was discussing the issue with a friend and she said that she saw your company on the web and I should check it out. I saw that Terry had a horseback riding tour - I immediately emailed them and set it up for my family. I have to tell you it was one of the best excursions I have ever taken. I have been on ten cruises and have enjoyed this excursion the best. I absolutely loved horsebacking riding through the country and getting a true feel of what the Domenican people were like. It was awesome to see the country and the people were wonderful! I learned so much with the cultural display and education. It was truly an enjoyable excursion and if I get back to Domenican I will definitely tour it with Terry again! I will also send my clients to Terry for all excursions at the Domenican Republic - Well worth the time and money to tour Samana with Terry. Thank you all for a very enlightening and wonderful time!

We took a cruise and visited a few islands, snorkeling, scuba diving, jet skiing, but our most favorite excursion of all was with Terry, ziplining. He picked us up from the port pier and took us up to the trees/mountain. We also had unlimited drinks, sodas, water and liquor all included with our tour. Then, we had an authentic DR lunch on the beach. It was awesome and if I ever go to DR again, I would tour with Terry, highly recommended.

This was the most well-rounded excursions one could take while visiting Samana or any port for that matter. Tour Samana with Terry has their business clicking on all cylynders and delivers! The ZipLine itself was awesome! Our group of 13 moved steadily through the lines with no real delay. Terry's team was quick to keep the group moving and having fun. Terry himself was leading our tour and was quick with a fact on local culture and their daily life on the island. We never felt in harms way with his system and rode every zip line with confidence knowing we would be safe. Included in the day were cold drinks of all sorts. Water, sodas, beer, and a bottle of rum is someone wanted. After the zip line was finished, we walked to the water falls at the bottom and had a chance to swim while looking at local wares being sold. The people there were not pushy, just forward on the fact they wanted you to look at their table of stuff. Once finished at the falls, we loaded up in the truck and took about a 10 minute ride to where lunch was being served. There were plenty of tables for our group when we arrived. Lunch was good. Local fish, seasoned chicken, rice, local root veggies, coconut, and pineapple. After lunch we were able to walk the beach that was about 30 yards from where we were sitting. The tide was up and the waves were fairly big, so no one was able to swim. It did make for some great pictures. A few stops on the way for some pictures. The tour ended with plenty of time to catch the tender back to the ship. Thank you Tour Samana with Terry for an enjoyable and unforgettable excursion that blows any ship guided tour out of the water!

This was one of the most amazing things I have done in my life!! It was just incredible. We did the 5 in 1 zipline tour which also inlcuded a cultural tour of Samana where we got to experience some of the local culture and foods and my 9 year old son Danny got to take some special gifts he brought from home for the local kids which they just loved! I got to meet the owner of the zipline along the way who also is in the process of building a eco friendly hotel which looks amazing! Our guide Mario was wonderful as was Terry who had lunch with us! I highly recommend this tour. The value was so much more than you would ever get on the cruise lines tours

Cannot begin to say how much we enjoyed the low impact walk to the waterfall with Dave. Everyone was wonderful from Terry to the students helping on the path. You do have to have your balance or someone to grab onto while walking along the path. Tends to be muddy, after all you are in a rain forest. We stopped at a souvenir shop along the way. We stopped for lunch chicken, fish and rice that were wonderful. Got to taste hot chocolate from the cocoa bean, fresh cut fruit, sugar caneā€¦also wonderful. There was plenty of food to go around and drinks too. Kudos to this group, I would use them again.

Went on the horseback riding and falls tour. It was easily the best excision I have ever taken. Our guide, was Lobo and he was amazing..lots of fun, very informative and caring that we had a good and safe experience. I would highly recommend this tour company. We had friends who did another tour from them and they were equally as impressed.

I wanted to write to tell you about our horseback ride, waterfall tour we took in Somana from a cruise ship.We were in a group with our family( me , my husband and two children ) plus my 2 friends. Our guide was Elysio,he was very friendly and kept us all comfortable plus was great at explaining the locale to us. The horse back ride was fun, along the way we stopped to see a local home then had a great lunch at the beach.from there we did a short hike to a waterfall and my kids swam there. By the end of the day we felt like we made a new friend. We loved Elysio! We are all still talking about how this was the best day off the ship for an excursion.I hope this helps other people to choose this tour, thoroughly enjoyed by all.
